Update much needed!

Here are the last few months in a few pictures!

It has been so long since I have had some time to sit down and get on the computer!

We went to Iowa to visit all of Tom's family! It was a great summer vacation and was so wonderful to see everyone! This was taken in Eldora at the Woodman house.

4 generation of Woodman boys! Tom, Logan, Great Grandpa Chuck and Grandpa Scott

Great Gramma Sherry, Great Grampa Bob, Logan, Tom and I in Clarksville at the Petersen house!

Our little family!

Gramma Trish! Logan loved Pioneer Days!

Logan and Addie loved taking walks in the mornings during the summer.

Logan took another vacation to San Antonio and visited with cousin Brody!

Great Grandma Ellie or Big G as we like to call her:-)

We also went to Medina Lake! Logan loved the water, but not his life jacket..

Playing with cousins Brody and Brandon.

Logan loves bath time and even more so now that he bathes in the kitchen sink! It is the perfect size!

Logan and Addie love play time!! They have been so much fun to watch grow up! I can't believe Addie will be a year old on October 6th and Logan on December 2nd!

Hopefully I can keep updating now that I have posted again! I let volleyball season get the best of me. We are almost half way thru district so it's almost over. I am ready for some quality time with my boys!

whoa, baby! you are huge...

As of May 2, our little Logan Monster turned 5 months.. I can't believe how fast it is going! He is doing new things everyday and never ceases to amaze us! He is the most amazing little creature we have ever laid our eyes on. And the best part?? He's ours!

Here are some Logan stats:

He is approximately 17 pounds, which is double his birth weight exactly! I say approximately because I did the whole weigh yourself then weigh with him in hand!

He is now rolling both ways, tummy to back and back to tummy.

He has started the scoot! Today, he tried to scoot with his behind in the air.. Not very successful, but entertaining for Mama!

He is so ticklish! Under his arms, his sides, his legs...he will giggle and squeal until you stop.

He has figured out that those little things on the ends of his feet can be put in his mouth. His toes are his new found chew toy. Gross!

I believe he is starting the dreaded teething process... He's been pretty cranky lately, and gnawing on things more than usual. And last night, I had the pleasure of being up with him from 1:30 to 3:30 because he would not stop chewing on things so he could fall back asleep!

He has started to recognize more people. It is the best feeling when you can walk in to the room and he looks at you and gives you the biggest grin!

Okay, enough talk! Here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks...

He got to go to his first Texas Ranger baseball game. Patty Cakes bought him a new outfit, Paw Paw had him on the field, and Tom got him a ticket to the game:-) He only made it about an hour, but I think once he gets a little older, he may enjoy it more. None the less, he looks great in his Ranger Red!!

This was after the Dunn family run in the Komen Breast Cancer 5k in downtown Fort Worth. Logan got a ride in his sweet jogging stroller from Paw Paw while the girls did their best to run fast! I must say...I think it was a major success for all of us!

I love baby feet and I think I took about 25 pictures trying to capture these beautiful things! His feet and toes are so big!

He is finally big enough for his bouncer from the Bruder's! He loves when there is music on in the background. He just bounces and bounces..until one of the cats walks by! Then, he is at a dead stop and in a stare down.. It is the funniest thing!

And yes, that is cereal all over his face! He has gotten so much better at eating! And as of today, he has started eating some baby food. Today, the adventure was carrots. He did excellent! They didn't seem to bother him at all! But he was a total mess to clean up at the end. Well worth it though to see that beaming smile on his face!

Happy 5 months, my big, beautiful boy!

We love you, Logan Monster!

Blame it on Mexico...

Just a couple of pictures from my vacation to Mexico with D, Cron, Palmer, Kate and the Clute's! We left on Thursday and came back on Sunday, May 2. It was a lot of fun but I missed my little monster!!

This was where we laid out all day! It was an amazing view and the weather was perfect! That's the ocean in the background.

Erin, Cron and I at the discoteca:-) They played mostly 80's and 90's dance music so it was really fun listening and dancing to old music.. And funny watching Cron dance to EVERY song played! hahah..
Jason under the hut hiding from the sun. Somehow, he still managed to get a sun burn!!

Cron, Palmer and I on the first night. Yes, Palmer's eyes are closed. We had that much fun:-)

It was a nice vacation from everything. And while I was gone, Tom and Logan got some good male bonding in:-) But it was nice to come home to them and be recharged for the few weeks ahead of school. It's almost over, my friends.

Summer's a coming!!

My how time flies...

It feels like I went to sleep in the beginning of March and woke up and all of a sudden, it was April! I can't believe it is already April 4. Logan is 4 months old, school is almost out, and baseball season starts tomorrow!!

So, here is a mini update on what's been happening!

Teresa was home for her Spring Break, which was the same week as ours! I cannot believe she is almost a senior in college..
Tom's grandparents were in town for our Spring Break as well. They got LOTS of time with Logan!
This was before we went to dinner at Riscky's in the Stockyards! He finally cooperated to take a family picture. He's got such a great little smile!!
I love, love, love this little boy!
I cannot believe he is already 4 months old. At 4 months, he weighs 15 pounds 11 ounces and is 26 1/2 inches long!! (which is in the 95 percentile!) He has been rolling from his tummy to his back a lot. He eats anywhere from 6-8 ounces a feeding and we've been given the clearance to start solids! And I'm not going to lie...we tried a little rice cereal today and the faces he made were hilarious. So, needless to say, we may wait a little while before we start anything serious!

Well, that's all I've got for now. Hopefully, I will keep this updated a little bit better now that things have settled down a little:-)

My how time flies when you're having fun!

Silly little 3 month old...

I cannot believe that our little monster is 3 months old! He has gotten so strong and is starting sit up better and is pushing up on his forearms!

He has also started to grab and pull on things!

This video cracks me up. He loves looking in the mirror at himself and giggling!

Nothing else going on around here. Spring Break is right around the corner!!

March 1, 2010

Real Quick Like..

So when was someone going to tell me that it was March?? Where did all the time go?!

Just a few pictures for ya. Nothing too exciting going on around here! Except for a certain little boy who turns 3 months tomorrow!!!

"What are those things?? They are HUGE!!" -Logan
He has found his feet, my friends.. So cute!!!

UTA Homecoming 2010-MAC Alumni Party at Gilligan's. Lindsay and Ally work with Tom at the MAC. They have easily become 2 of my favorite people...They are so fun to be around! And they let me tag along when they go running... Thank goodness for that!

Tom and I went to dinner at Texas de Brazil for his birthday. This was one of our first nights away from Logan!

Happy 3 months little monster!! We love you!!

February 24, 2010

life with logan:-)

Just a quick update... I was sitting here with Logan tonight and got to thinking about what a wonderful little miracle Tom and I have... And wanted to share some thoughts!

These are just a few of my thoughts/facts about my sweet little (almost!) 3 month old boy....

1. He has the most beautiful smile in the world! He can light up a room, and can most certainly make the worst of days the best.

2. He has acid reflux. Yuck! It has it's ups and downs, good days and bad, but overall, I think Logan deals with it very well. Now, don't get me wrong, he does get fussy! But his good days out number his bad by far.

3. This little man "gives good face". Look at the eye brows and that look! His facial expressions are hilarious! I wonder where he gets that from...
4. He is the cutest GINGER baby I have ever seen! ( Sorry, Teresa!)

5. When he talks, listen up people! It's entertaining to listen to him coo and giggle. It's almost like he's really talking and he's got a lot to say! And sometimes, he'll shake his head like he understands what you are saying to him!

6. He isn't sleeping thru the night yet, but is sleeping about 5 to 6 hours. I am completely convinced that he only wakes up around 3 A.M to see his mommy. He misses me so much in the middle of the night, he's just got to get another good look at me...that and he wants to eat another 4-5 ounces:-)

7. He is not a big fan of his car seat or car rides. Oh my, oh my... He is not a happy camper when you put him in to go somewhere. So crazy to me, because I am almost sure putting me in the car seat and taking me for a ride was exactly how my parents put me to sleep when I was a baby!

8. He loves sticking his whole hand in his mouth... It is the silliest thing I have ever seen and I wish I had a picture to show. And wow, does this kid drool! He is a mess!
9. I can not even begin to tell you how much I love this little boy. It is almost indescribable! But I can tell you that when I see him, my heart just melts and I love him a little more everyday.

2009 was a crazy year and brought about a lot of good things. But nothing can top the birth of Logan Thomas. It has changed our lives, but all for the good! I can't imagine what could make this life better. I am definitely blessed, beyond what I deserve.

And for that, I am truly grateful.

i heart cosa

Logan got to take his first road trip on February 12. We went down to San Antonio to visit some of my family. Tom had to work so my mom joined us for the trip! Which worked out great.. She kept him company in the back seat since he's not a real big fan of riding in the car!

This is at El Chaparral. Don't let the smile fool you, though. He doesn't enjoy his car seat either! He would rather sit at the table with you and join in the conversation.
He got loved on by everyone this weekend!! Aunt Pam calmed him down after the car ride to the house. And she watched him while Nicole, Tiffany and I went and got pedicures! Thanks, Aunt Pam!!
This picture makes me laugh...He makes the silliest faces! And he loves his hands!
This is BAM (Brandon), Nicole's son. This is the only picture I could get him to sit still for! I still don't know how I did it.
Brody, Tiffany's son. Those 2 boys are so stinking cute ! I had such a good time just watching them play around the house. I can't wait until Logan is big enough to play too!
This is take 1 of the cousins and kids photo... we couldn't get Brandon to sit still and Brody just wanted to watch Yo Gabba Gabba on TV. And well Logan, ya can't really control what he does!
Take 2. I could not stop laughing...Brody kept getting angry because Uncle Mark was standing in front of the TV and blocking his show!! And Brandon, well, he's just being himself:-) And Logan is probably looking at the fan...it mesmerizes him!
Take 3. I love this one! This is life for us now... Crazy how we've all grown up. I can remember us being little and running around Maw Maw and Paw Paw's house and our parents chasing after us. Now it's us doing the chasing!
This is my grandmother, Big G. She was so surprised that we came to town! I am glad we got to spend some time with her. And Logan enjoyed her too! She sang to him in Polish and he giggled and smiled at her. It was so cute!
Again, I can't believe this is my life. I have a beautiful little boy, and a wonderful little family.

And this life may not be perfect, but it's mine. And I feel so lucky to have it!
